Take a rowboat on the lake or visit the museum and the blacksmiths shop and get an inkling of life as a pioneer. But you won't live like a pioneer in your own rural cabin, supplied with all linen and bedding provided and a wood heater for the cooler months.

Each cabin can accommodate up to eight people and comes with a fully equipped kitchen, private bathroom, lounge, wood heater and all linen is provided. Each also has its own private barbecue area.

Gumleaves is also centrally located for visiting other East Coast attractions. Walk on white sunny beaches, visit Maria Island and Freycinet National Park, Wielangta Rainforest, or see convict built ‘Spiky Bridge’. A day trip can also take you fishing in the river or swimming in the sea.
